Stage 03 · Isaiah 61:3 · Weeks 13–16

Inheritance

What God plants becomes what God grows.

“And provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”
Isaiah 61:3

Why Inheritance Matters

Inheritance is the movement of Isaiah 61:3 — the moment Jesus restores dignity, honor, and spiritual authority. It is where He bestows beauty instead of ashes, joy instead of mourning, and praise instead of despair. Inheritance matters because it is where the disciple begins receiving what God has long intended for them. It marks the shift from being restored to becoming responsible, from surviving to carrying, from loss to abundance. Without Inheritance, the disciple cannot step into Calling or Leadership with strength. It is the beginning of stewardship.

02

As a Mature Disciple

A mature disciple in Inheritance carries gratitude, responsibility, and reverence. They understand that what God has entrusted to them is not for status but for service. Their life becomes marked by careful stewardship and humble strength. They carry their inheritance with a sense of honor, knowing it reflects the beauty and joy Jesus has placed upon them.

03

Discipling Others

A mature disciple helps others recognize the gifts, authority, and dignity God is restoring in them. They teach people how to steward their inheritance wisely, helping them move from shame into honor and from despair into praise. Their stewardship becomes a model for others to follow, showing what it looks like to carry God's gifts with humility and purpose.

  • 01What has God entrusted to you?
  • 02Where is He inviting you into deeper stewardship?
  • 03Who needs help recognizing their restored inheritance?
